Maura, I loved Her Hero, I thought it was very well done. I knew when I read it that it was one of my favorites. All the others were great and congrats to all of you who stuck through the challenge.

Great Job. Everyone.

I think the hardest part of writing is revising. And by that I mean the following: A novelist has to create the piece of marble and then chip away to find the figure in it.

Her Hero was my favorite, though I also liked both Sasha's and Kellys too.  Considering how hard it was to keep/get excited about this particular round, I thought we did great.

You're gonna eat this POD Queen stuff up aren't you? I'm afraid to burst your bubble, but remember I have POD for SG, so ya gotta share it. Wink

Congrats to Alice, Sasha, and Maura! You stuck it out until the end, and did an awesome job besides.  Cheesy

To be honest, I almost didn't vote either. But I got on the site this morning before church, and realized I had a few minutes, so I rushed through it. It helped that there were only 4 others for me to read!

And let us not forget, I was the original POD Queen. Remember that awful short story about the charm bracelet/necklace in Round 1? *shudder* Yeah, I'm down there too!

I thought they were all great - I startled the cats when I read yours, Alice! I just sat and laughed! Obviously couldn't give you a high score but you get kudos for the humor.

Long Road Home and Tara Got Her Man were really good! They held my attention and both gave our saga a satisfying ending. But Her Hero was excellent! Loved it!! The dialogue was snappy and in the perfect tone for the story. The pace was great and it made me chuckle at the end. Really fantastic job, Maura!! Congratulations!
